Wowness!
Woo hoo! THE ROMANTIC TIMES gave TRASH COURSE four stars and a really cool write-up about Penny Drake (me) and how a romantic suspense novel that involved hoarding came about. (No, the protagonists don't hoard.)
The review reads, in part, "Trash Course will stand out in readers' minds for the plucky heroine, quirky cast of characters and the hoarder that brings everyone together. The author keeps up a fast pace in this complex mystery by using plenty of twists, turns and red herrings. Although the romance is fairly light, readers won't feel like they are missing any character depth in Terry because the author uses plenty of detail while exploring her backstory and friendships."
The write-up starts out with, "With thousands of books published every year, it can be difficult for authors to come up with a unique premise for a book. So when we found out that the e-book Trash Course revolved around a mystery set in a hoarder's booby-trapped house, we were immediately intrigued.
