Okay, Dublin flat rental confirmed, car reservation confirmed, cottage reservation confirmed, plane tickets confirmed. Packing list set. Electronics adaptation devices assembled. Video and book files transferring from cloud to iPad. Child care dealt with. Cell phones set up for international use. I still have to stock the house with groceries before we leave. What am I forgetting?

Passports, medications (doctor's notes where applicable), plane tickets, house rules and transit in-city.

We're going in September. Got a room in a place at the edge of Temple Bar area. We have the plane tickets, rooms and transit between cities (Dublin, London and Amsterdam) down so we're on to paperwork at this point.

So... going along with your checklist. lol

I came out while travelling in Dublin. 23 years ago. There was ONE pub at the time (Parliament was open, closed, reopened as ... was something else for a while, I think it's back now). I remember Temple Bar. Well. :P
