Aran and Friends
Aran has friends.
Yes, you read that right. I'm having a hard time believing it, too. But he has friends. There's a group of boys who know him from school. They wave hello to him, and apparently do stuff at school with him. Occasionally they drop by the house to say hello. They were at the pool and invited Aran to join in the horsing around they were doing. Aran did, and he acted just like any other. He seemed pretty popular, to tell the truth. One kid said, "Hey, Aran! Want to see me do a flip?" and did.
I was speechless and half in tears. Aran has a freakin' social life. With real give and take.
