The Cow Has Landed

One of the teachers at Nameless High bought a cow for butchering but can't use all of it and wanted to know if I was interested in a quarter of it.  Yes, yes I was.  Today, the cow arrived, already divided up--several pounds of hamburger, a whole pile of roasts, many steaks, and the neck bones (which no one else wanted and which I said I'd take for broth).

All grass-fed, range beef at less than half the price of what you get in the grocery store.  My freezer is now full of meat for winter.
